We are absolutely mystified as to why she has not sold...If I had her in Annapolis, she'd fetch $20 Thousand more in a Month !This is certainly one of the best Tayana 37's on the market. She was prepared to do the Ostar race in 1994, but did not go. At that time everything was thoroughly inspected, brought up to the highest standards. All fuel and water tanks replaced, so she has more tankage than usual. Her interior has been completely redone by a master craftsman, the engine has only 500 hours, the Dynaform rigging is new, hull has been Awlgripped, and she's completely equipped with solar panels, autopilot, GPS, SSB, windvane steering and more. Complete down to galleyware and linens, charts and cruising guides. "Penelope" was imported to Holland when new, VAT has been paid. She has been Dutch flagged since new. From 1976 until 1992 she was sailed just 4 months out of the year. In 1994, as a precautionary measure 6 coats of epoxy were applied to the bottom. Bottom inspected 2 September 2002, no signs of any osmosis. Already in the Caribbean, a great place to start your cruise, tax free!
